Commercial Architectural Photography

Tim Rawle has an appropriately interesting background as an architectural photographer: after completing his first degree in Art & Design with first-class honours at Art School in London, he changed subject and went on to train as an architect at Cambridge University, followed by post-graduate study at the Architectural Association where he was the Caldicott Scholar. He worked as a junior architect for a few years but then left architectural practice to pursue a career in publishing to combine his collective interests in architecture, architectural history, graphic design and photography (for more info see ABOUT). Tim enjoys photographing a wide variety of building types, both historical and contemporary, ranging from everyday domestic scale architecture through to the grandeur of major buildings and interiors, examples of which can be seen here in the accompanying slideshows.
